Ha pasado un tiempo desde la última vez que hablamos, ¿verdad?
Tal vez estés trabajando duro, o quizás te estés tomando un pequeño descanso de tus rutinas habituales para leer esto.
Bueno, te pondré al día rápidamente sobre lo que ha estado pasando.
Sigo viajando.
Desde la última vez que te vi en Singapore, he pasado algún tiempo entregándome a los vicios en Bangkok, Thailand, agotándome físicamente con el boxeo en la isla de Boracay, Philippines, hice un pequeño tour por Hong Kong, regresé a la villa de Bali, Indonesia para una semana de trabajo intenso, conocí a algunos lugareños y viejos desamores en Seoul, South Korea, hice buceo con tiburones ballena y exploré en triciclo la isla de Cebu, Philippines, y ahora estoy en mi última etapa explorando las maravillas culturales de Tokyo, Kyoto y Osaka en Japan.
Vaya, qué cantidad de cosas…
No obstante, tienes que admitirlo, sobre el papel suena increíble, y ciertamente tiene un atractivo de novedad… ¿Quién no anhela la libertad a este nivel?
Pero… no te sientes cómodo… te sientes vacío.
¿Por qué?
No has sido productivo, en absoluto. A fecha de este post, admites abiertamente que te dejas llevar por la vida.
Curiosamente, como dicen, el dinero no necesariamente te hace feliz.
¿Qué te hace feliz?
Tener una meta establecida y esforzarse por alcanzarla. Tener todas tus motivaciones en la vida alineadas hacia un único objetivo a largo plazo.
Es como si hubieras alcanzado una meseta que simplemente está ahí…
Estás sentado en un sofá, mirando una puerta abierta que conduce a más progreso, impulso y éxito. Pero frente a ella hay un televisor de pantalla grande, lleno de distracciones. Tus ojos están pegados a la tele y el sofá es demasiado cómodo para dejarlo.
Estás atrapado en una zona de confort.
…
Pero ya has estado aquí antes. Muchas, muchas veces.
Este no es un obstáculo externo, como cuando las cosas salen mal. Es uno interno, uno más profundo.
Uno que requiere realinear tus motivaciones.
¿O podría ser tan simple como —solo hacer… solo empezar de nuevo?
La chispa está ahí, solo necesitas girar el contacto y conducir hasta que algo cuaje.
De hecho, esa siempre ha sido tu filosofía. Solo haz algo, hasta que ese algo cuaje.
Sí.
Solo hazlo. Solo trabaja duro.
Solo levántate y sigue adelante.
¡Así que volvamos al trabajo!

Thanks for the little bit of inspiration. Sometimes it’s hard staying focused on my IM goals, between normal life distractions, some comfort mixed in, along with my full time job (which also involves, adwords, bing, and other paid advertising management, which makes it hard to come home and work on the same exact things for myself).

To get back up is the main thing! Motivation will come and go like the wind, we just have to keep shortening the length of time between it coming and going!
Because action isn’t just the effect of motivation but also the cause of it!
Inspiration – Motivation – Action? Yes But ALSO Action – Inspiration – Motivation!

Hey Jake, I like that. Action is the cause of motivation, and vice versa.
Similar to motion creates emotion.

While I might have been a little quiet these past few weeks, I have been still working on my campaigns. Not as much as I would have liked (due to some personal issues I had to take care of), but now I’m back…
Good thing one of the campaigns that I setup has been bringing in about $10/day in revenue. Not a lot but soon it’ll be more than that. So I can travel to exotic places like you Leonidas!:)
